I started out as a Nikon shooter with the D40, that quickly became the D5600. Moving on to the D7500 that I bricked in a salt water accident, and then I went full frame: D750, D700 and D4. I have recently got the mirrorless Nikon Z6ii (FF) and the Z50 (APS-C). With the long lens 200-500mm, the Z50 is excellent for bird photography.
Because I wanted to give tilt-shift lenses a try and Nikons tilt-shift lenses are very expensive relative to Canons, I decided to buy a Canon tilt shift lens and a Canon EOS 5D mk III to go along (the combined price was lower than the Nikon lens). So I have recently taken up shooting with the Canon and I find it to be a great camera that I quickly have learned to operate.
